Dr. Stephanie Smith is the VP of Marketing at In Situ, Inc, and brings over 20 years of experience in environmental monitoring to our board. She earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology from The Ohio State University and worked at leading Ohio-based companies such as Battelle, YSI and Xylem prior to joining In Situ. Dr. Smith has distinguished herself in the area of harmful algal blooms (HABs), and also has led the technical and commercial development of leading water monitoring technologies that are used in the laboratory and the field to protect our water resources. Her unique blend of business and scientific acumen helps the CWA in our assessments of both technologies and new opportunities.
