Connecting Innovation, Policy, and Practice Ohio (CIPPO) will hold its annual conference on August 20 at the Roberta Steinbacher Atrium in the Levin College of Public and Urban Affairs.
This year, the theme will center around smart manufacturing and feature a lunchtime keynote address from Michael Jeans, President and CEO of the GO Green Energy Fund and Growth Opportunity Partners.
In partnership with the Expanding Ohio Manufacturing Digitization Securely at Scale (EMDiS) Center for Excellence at Cleveland State University and co-sponsored by the United States Economic Development Administration (EDA), the conference aims to highlight major federally funded innovation projects in Ohio. It will also shed light on the role of universities in spurring innovation and discuss successes and lessons learned in the innovation space, potentially leading to the identification and creation of synergies and partnerships.
