Cleveland Water Alliance is proud to be a partner on a Lake Erie-focused project selected to receive a $500k investment from the U.S. Department of Energy! This project, focused on advancing marine energy, is led by Baldwin Wallace University in collaboration with NETSCo, Freeboard Technology, and Argonaut. Unique Opportunities, Local Solutions: User-Centered Design of Marine Energy for Lake Erie (UCD4LE) will empower students from Baldwin Wallace and Davis Aerospace and Maritime High School to design and test marine energy technologies with real-world applications for Lake Erie. Through our Water Accelerator Testbeds and expertise in water technology, CWA will support pilot device deployment, connect student teams with key stakeholders, and help shape projects with local and global impact.
