I am excited to attend my first Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), from June 19-21, 2024, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. Over three days, this biennial event is touted to host the international water, coastal, and flood community, covering four expansive halls.

I am eager to explore and connect with this impressive range of groups attending the conference:

- 400 exhibiting companies from more than 30 countries and regions.
- 80+ brands showcasing the latest in the Smart Tech & Digitalization Zone.
- 35+ start-ups featured at the exclusive Start-Up Zone.
- New: Coastal Protection & Flood Resilience Zone.
- Large Expo Hall and participation of pavilions from nations including Australia, Belgium, Canada, and many more.
- Curated content and programs on the Business of Water, Climate Resilience Forum, Innovation Stage, and Singapore Product Showcase Stage.
- Networking opportunities with utility leaders and industry stakeholders.

CWA Seeks International Partnerships and Scouts New Tech from Asian Markets

Similar to my goals in attending IFAT 2024 in Munich this year, CWA's goal for attending SIWW is to foster international partnerships and scout innovative solutions, this time, with a particular focus on Asian markets. I will be exploring and scouting cutting-edge technology and innovation, seeking opportunities to introduce these advancements to U.S. companies, utilities, and markets.

CWA Innovators on Display

A key highlight will be Tuesday, where CWA's Testbed Innovators, including:

Keeping an Eye on Global Solutions and Water Tech Trends

The event schedule includes a reception on Tuesday night for key players in the Asian market, a trade show on Wednesday and Thursday, and panels on Friday focusing on utilities. These panels will help us further understand the global water challenges, trends, and how technology and innovation are providing solutions. There will be specific breakout sessions addressing water stress in manufacturing, with a notable focus on digital water trends.

CWA is the ONLY US Water Cluster Attending

I am proud to represent Cleveland Water Alliance as the sole U.S. water cluster at SIWW 2024.

I look forward to reconnecting with our partners from the Korean Water Partnership (Korean Cluster) and K Water (Korean Water Utility), and I am always eager to meet with our European partners such as the Catalan Water Partnership and Clean from Denmark.

Please connect with me if you're attending SIWW! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to drive innovation and foster global collaborations in the water sector.
