We are excited to announce the launch of the 2023 CWA Water Accelerator Testbeds season. As innovators, you understand the importance of pushing the boundaries of technology to solve pressing water challenges. With our Water Accelerator Testbeds program, we are looking for pioneers in the water technology and IoT space who are eager to develop, test, and scale their ideas to make a positive impact on our water resources.
The Water Accelerator Testbeds program is designed to provide water technology and IoT pioneers with a platform to develop, test, and scale innovative ideas, and provides opportunities to connect with experts, collaborators, support services, and potential end-users. Through the program, we aim to launch innovative solutions that address freshwater challenges, promote economic development, and foster community engagement.
Innovators that would benefit from utilizing the Water Accelerator Testbed include IoT technologies that can monitor, predict, and manage freshwater in real-time. We believe that these technologies have the power to revolutionize the way we manage and protect our water resources, and we want to support innovators who share this vision.
The Water Accelerator Testbeds program provides innovators with access to testbed sites throughout the Lake Erie Watershed, which will allow them to conduct trials and gather data in a variety of real-world environments like open water, wetlands, streams, and rivers. We want innovators to have the resources and support they need to turn their ideas into viable solutions that can make a real difference.
Last year, Colorado-based water quality instrumentation and software company In-Situ, utilized our testbed and is returning again this season. Regional sales manager, Andrew Lussenhop shared his thoughts, saying, “As we continue to evolve and develop new technologies that address specific needs in the marketplace, we're immensely grateful for our partnership with Cleveland Water Alliance. They've created an easy avenue not only for innovators to refine and demonstrate their technologies, but also for users to evaluate for themselves what's going to make a positive difference in their processes."
